With both the men’s and women’s domestic seasons now completed, the Chinese Taipei football Association (CTFA) have announced a series of award winners for both the Taiwanese Premier League and the Mulan League.
The Taiwan Premier League’s player of the year was Tainan City’ defender, Kim Sung-kyum. The South Korean has been a key part of the Hawks squad since arriving from second division Korean side Ansun Greeners in 2023. This season, Kim was crucial in Tainan having the best defensive record in the league– a huge factor in the Hawks narrowly winning their sixth title-in-a-row.
The CTFA also selected Hang Yuan’s Odo Jacobs as the league’s best keeper. Jacobs kept nine clean sheets in the 2025/26 season and is seen as a major prospect for the future on both the domestic and international scenes. The twenty-one year old has been on the bench for the Taiwanese national team on seven separate occasions without getting onto the field but his first international cap will surely be happening in the near future.
On the women’s side, Wei Yu-fei, the AC Taipei defender was chosen as the Mulan League’s player of the year. Meanwhile, the league’s best goalkeeper was Kaohsiung Attackers’ Yoshimi Miki– who has now won the award for the second year in a row. The Japanese stopper kept thirteen clean sheets this season.
Additionally, the CTFA acknowledged both of the leagues’ golden boot winners. Hang Yuan’s Kang Tae-won scored 12 goals in 20 games in his first season since arriving from years in the Korean leagues. Meanwhile, Thai striker Saowalak Pengngam scored 17 goals in 18 games for Taichung Blue Whale in the Mulan League. Both players took home a prize of NTD 60,000.
The league’s best coaches were Tainan’s Carlos García and Hang Yuan’s Hung Chin-hwai. Both managers ended the year as champions in their respective leagues.
